From Borisoglebsk to Titov, the path goes through difficult forests and roads. In a flat field rises a large artificial hill. There have never been villages nearby, so it is unclear why the church stands in the field and on this hill. Recently, people from Moscow appeared here, who decided to restore the church by their own efforts. One witness accidentally discovered an abandoned and dusty altar in the church with a pentagram, a censer, and a skull, which he called 'satanic.' Since these people are apparently Orthodox, the witness believes that there is a struggle between different confessions for possession of Lavrentyev Hill. Previously, there was a village called Lavrenki here, which disappeared before the war, leaving only two wastelands and apple trees with elderberries. The apple trees, although degenerated, still bear edible fruit. The central point of the hill is located behind the church or near the altar. The church was built in 1812, and a satanic sect settled here, followed by Christians from Moscow who came to build a monastery. To reach the top of the hill from the nearest road, it takes about half an hour in a Niva, winding through the ravines.
