The stone church with five domes and a bell tower, dedicated to Saint Andrew the General and Saint Sergius, was built in 1825 thanks to the efforts of the parishioners. Before that, a wooden church stood on its site, which was destroyed in 1811.

Processions take place on April 23, July 5, July 28, and on the Friday of Elijah. The reasons for the first three processions are unknown, while the last was established after lightning struck the church's dome without damaging the other buildings.

The church lands cover 36 desyatinas, and the parish includes three villages. A rural school was opened here in 1879.

Old-timers recount that there once was a village where a certain Andrew lived, who bequeathed to build a wooden temple in honor of Saint Andrew the General. Subsequently, the village became known as Andreevskoye.
