The Church of the Apostle Andrew the First-Called is located in the Babaevsky microdistrict of Astrakhan. Its construction began in 2007 when specialists from the engineering and technical center of LLC "Gazprom Dobycha Astrakhan" developed the project. In 2009, the project underwent construction expertise, and permission was obtained to start work. In 2011, the solemn consecration and installation of four small domes took place, in 2013, the consecration and installation of bells, and in 2016, the consecration and installation of the central dome and cross. All work was financed by patrons.

The church is a two-story structure with twelve altars, a basement floor, and an integrated bell tower, accommodating over 1000 parishioners. The church hosts a Sunday school, library, pilgrimage center, and Orthodox ensemble.
