The village of Andreyevo appeared in the late 19th century. Previously, there was a meadow known as Andreyevsky, which gave the village its name. Count Khrapovitsky organized a site here for wood processing, laid a railway branch, built a station, barracks for workers, and shops. Throughout its history, the village has been a center for wood processing and was famous for its woodworkers. In the 1940s and 1950s, minerals began to be extracted in Andreyevo, and a quarry for stone, gravel, and dolomite flour was opened.

However, local residents could not build their own church for a long time and traveled to the neighboring village of Likino, located five kilometers away, for services. But finally, thanks to the efforts of the rector of the Nativity of the Mother of God Church in the village of Likino, Priest Gennady Dobrokhotov, and with the support of the head of the village administration, Sergey Shmakov, the cornerstone for the future chapel was laid on October 18, 2003. The site was consecrated by Archbishop Evlogiy of Vladimir and Suzdal along with local priests and residents.

In the summer of 2003, the holy relics of the apostle were brought to Russia from the Holy Mountain of Athos. The construction work was led by Archpriest Gennady Dobrokhotov, with local timber industry worker Zin V. N. as his main assistant. The director of the local forestry, Andreyev I. A., also provided significant assistance. Thanks to their efforts, on December 13, 2005, on the feast of Saint Andrew the First-Called, the first service was held in the under-construction chapel.

On January 2, 2007, the church in Andreyevo was consecrated. In 2008, bells began to sound from the new bell tower. Currently, a Sunday school operates at the church.
