The temple of the righteous Alexius, Man of God, is located in the village of Repyevka in the Tyulgan district. Its construction was completed in 1839 thanks to Lieutenant Colonel Ekaterina Vasilyevna Skryabina, who became the owner of the village after purchasing it from Alexander Repyev.

The church was consecrated on March 30, 1840. The first mentions of it are found in the clerical records from 1840: "A stone building with a bell tower. The altar in honor of the holy righteous Alexius, Man of God. The utensils are sufficient. According to the 1840 statute, the clergy consisted of one priest, a deacon, and a sacristan. There was no land associated with the church. Houses for the priest and deacon were built in 1840 next to the church and were owned by them. In the church-parish school, 31 boys and 8 girls were educated." The church had 7 bells: 5 large and 2 small, the largest weighing 75 poods. The floor was laid with patterned tiles.

The financing of the parish is reflected in the clerical records: "The landowner provided the interest, allocated for eternity in the Savings Book of the Imperial Moscow Educational House, 7142 rubles in silver, which amounted to 285 rubles per year according to the document dated May 7, 1880, donated by Skryabina. This capital was placed in the Moscow Operational Bank for eternity, inviolable."

Copies of the metric books have been kept since 1840 and were preserved until 1918 in the archives. According to the clerical records of 1914, in 1905 the church was enclosed by a fence funded by Georgy Vasilyevich Bychkov. The parish included: Repyevka 114 households, Kozlovka 89 households, Bobrinsky farm 10 households, Novo-Georgievsky 20 households, totaling 1550 parishioners.

In 1927, local authorities confiscated church property, removed the bells, and threw them into a ravine, damaging the bell tower cornice and the church roof. In 1933, parish metric records were seized.

The parish existed until the mid-1930s. From 1935 to 1950, the building was used for grain storage and was then closed.

Partial repairs of the church were carried out in 1990: window frames and doors were restored, later a metal fence was installed, the roof was covered with iron, and the church was returned to the believers.
