The Historical and Local Lore Museum is engaged in researching and preserving history, as well as introducing the younger generation to the natural and cultural features of their homeland. In the modern world, where technology is rapidly advancing, these aspects often remain in the shadows.
In January 2015, the museum moved to a new building constructed in 2002.
The concept of the Chishminsky District Museum is based on integrating educational processes for all residents of the district using modern computer and information technologies. The project aims to develop historical, cultural, and creative thinking among the population, as well as to broaden their informational horizons, fostering respect for their homeland.
The exhibition halls of the museum are planned to present the history of the Chishminsky District on themes: the nature of the homeland, paleontology, archaeology, ethnography, the Civil War, the establishment of collective farms, the district during the Great Patriotic War, the 1950s, the post-war period, outstanding personalities of the district, internationalist warriors, and numismatics.
