The brick chapel with one dome was built in 1997-1998 at Kovshovo Cemetery thanks to funding from Mikhail Derevyanchuk. The building has a square shape and a one-story structure, with a roof designed in the form of a broken eight-slope profile and adorned with an onion-shaped dome set on an octagonal lantern drum. Various shaped apses, a portal, and a room for funerals adjoin the chapel on three sides. Initially, the chapel was affiliated with the Ascension Church and later transferred to the Assumption Svyensky Men's Monastery.
