The brick chapel at the entrance of the "Livgidromash" factory was consecrated on June 24, 2004. Previously, there stood the Ascension Cemetery Church, which was destroyed in the 20th century along with the cemetery. The chapel has a single-domed square with an altar and a narthex and is affiliated with the Livny Cathedral of St. Sergius of Radonezh. It was built with funds from the factory and consecrated by Archpriest Mephodiy Duzhik. The father of the well-known theologian and preacher Sergey Bulgakov, Archpriest Nikolai, served in this church. The chapel is open daily from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
