On August 17, 2013, the chapel in honor of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross was consecrated in the village of Salyn, Dubrovsky District. This event took place with the blessing of Metropolitan Alexander of Bryansk and Sevsk. The consecration service was led by the archpriest Rustik Bogatyrev, the dean of the Zhukov church district. He was assisted by priest Sergey Christofor, the rector of the Holy Trinity Church in the village of Golubeya, and priest Sergey Bogatyrev, the head of the missionary and youth departments of the Zhukov deanery.
