The chapel dedicated to the Resurrection of Christ was built with funds from the district administration at the cemetery located on the outskirts of the city of Klintsy.

Later, this cemetery was transferred to the Orthodox community of the Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul and officially became recognized as an Orthodox cemetery. In 2005, a ceremonial transfer of the chapel took place. The head of the administration, V.I. Kholuev, handed over the keys and all documents of the chapel to Bishop Theophilact of Bryansk and Sevsk.
