On January 28, 2016, by the blessing of Metropolitan Evlogy of Vladimir and Suzdal, a site was consecrated for the construction of a chapel in honor of Saint Equal-to-the-Apostles Prince Vladimir at the Cultural and Tourist Center "Golden Gates" in the village of Rukav, Sobinsky District. The consecration ceremony was conducted by the dean of the Western district of the city of Vladimir, Archpriest Anatoly Segeda, who wished the benefactors and builders God's assistance in their efforts to create this place by the road.

On July 6, 2016, the consecration and installation of the cross on the chapel took place. This ceremony was also conducted by Archpriest Anatoly Segeda. The event was attended by the management and staff of the Cultural and Tourist Center "Golden Gates."

On July 28, 2017, the consecration ceremony of the chapel in the name of Saint Equal-to-the-Apostles Prince Vladimir at the Cultural and Tourist Center "Golden Gates" in the village of Rukav was held. The consecration was led by Metropolitan Evlogy of Vladimir and Suzdal. Concluding the ceremony, he noted that the chapel holds special significance and power, and expressed confidence that it is now filled with the grace of the Holy Spirit.
