The Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the village of Bogorodskoye, Pokrovsky district, was built in 1809. The refectory was added in 1829, and the church was expanded in 1847. The last tier of the bell tower was completed in 1872. The church had two altars: the right one in honor of the Equal-to-the-Apostles Myrrh-Bearing Women and the left one in honor of Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker. In 1878, the parish included the village of Ileykino, the hamlet of Fineyevo, the village of Lyubimezh, the village of Pesyane, the hamlet of Dvorishchi, and the village of Kashino. The church was destroyed at the end of the war.
