In 1830, a stone chapel was built in honor of the Holy Trinity at the revered springs in the northern part of Shigony. For a long time, it served as a place for the conclusion of processions from nearby villages and for conducting water blessing services. Woven and wooden troughs were laid from the Trinity spring, which is still one of the largest in terms of water flow in the region, to the Usy River. In 1934, the chapel was demolished, and until the end of the 1990s, the spring remained undeveloped. In 1997, at the request of the priest of the Shigony church and local parishioners, budget funds were allocated, and a year later, a metal chapel was erected at the spring, preserving the dedication of the former. Birch trees and Siberian cedars were planted in the surrounding area, and later a wooden bathing area and a cross were installed at the spring. Today, the Trinity spring remains the most visited by pilgrims among more than 80 springs in the Shigony district.
