Chapel of the Life-Giving Trinity in Lugovoe

Фото 1
The historical name of the village where the church in honor of the Life-Giving Trinity was located was Gryaznukha. The church, built in 1792, was made of stone and had three altars. In 1889, it was renovated, but in the 1930s, with the arrival of authorities implementing an anti-religious policy, the temple was almost completely destroyed, with only part of the wall remaining.

Later, in 2011, on this site, next to the surviving wall, a chapel with the same name was built thanks to the prayers and efforts of local residents. In 2012, with the blessing of the ruling bishop, the chapel was consecrated by priest Nikolai Golovin.
