At the foot of the mountain, where the ancient Holy Trinity-Nikolsky Monastery of the 17th century rises in Gorokhovets, a holy spring has been arranged. It is located almost 100 meters above the river level.

A steep staircase and a simple road lead to the spring, although it was nearly impossible to reach it before. The ravine has been improved with a structure containing baptismal fonts for men and women.

The exact time of the spring's appearance is unknown, but believers suggest it may have occurred during the invasion of the Tatar-Mongols. According to legend, the invaders were frightened away by a warrior, Archangel Michael, who suddenly appeared on the mountain, and Gorokhovets was spared from destruction.

Archbishop Evlogy of Vladimir and Suzdal blessed the spring to be named in honor of the Life-Giving Trinity, as the newest of all Gorokhovets springs. However, this spring has existed for a long time, where baptisms and prayers were conducted.

The holy spring is located near the Holy Trinity-Nikolsky Men's Monastery. Its arrangement took place under the blessing of Archbishop Evlogy and with the active participation of the rector of the All Saints Church, Alexander Stepanov.

The construction lasted a whole year, and the site was chosen not by chance. Firstly, there was already a spring here, just not arranged. Secondly, it is a secluded place where one can come for prayer.

The complex includes not only the arranged spring but also a bathing area. Now the residents of Gorokhovets have a place for conducting prayers.
