The wooden chapel of the Tikhvin Icon of the Mother of God in the village of Klopovskaya, built in 1895, is clad in planks and is a square structure topped with a decorative octagon under a tent roof, with a narthex.

Since the village was home to Old Believers, all the icons in the chapel were ancient, dating back to pre-schism times. During the Soviet years, the chapel stood empty and gradually fell into disrepair, but in 2009-2010, an initiative group of local residents restored it with their own funds. Now, services are held here with an invited priest, and on May 9, the day of the Tikhvin Icon celebration, descendants from the village come from all corners of the world.
