In 2013, a chapel was established in the southeast tower of the monastery fence, opposite the Holy Trinity Church, in honor of the Tikhvin Icon of the Mother of God. In 2014, Moscow icon painters Alexey Sernyaev and Nadezhda Stepanova decorated its walls. The frescoes depict miracles associated with the now-lost Tikhvin Icon, such as healing from cholera and the salvation of the city of Kirzhach from fire. The chapel houses a copy of the Tikhvin Icon of the Mother of God, which was gifted to the monastery in 2005 by His Holiness Patriarch Alexy II.
