From the Holy Nicholas-Tikhon Men's Monastery and the Holy Pond in the village of Timiryazevo, Lukhsky District, Ivanovo Region, one can walk along wooden walkways to Tikhon Desert, where in the late 15th century, Saint Tikhon lived in solitude. On the site of his cell, a stone tent chapel was laid on August 14, 2010. On January 3, 2011, a dome and cross were installed on the chapel. Nearby, a holy well, bathing area, and gazebo have been arranged.
