In the forest behind the village of Kadyshovka, at a spring dedicated to St. Tikhon of Kaluga, Father Andrei Filkin, along with parishioners who came in a procession, consecrated a baptismal chapel. Here, the priest will conduct baptism ceremonies by full immersion.
The chapel is made of wooden logs with a tent roof, on which a drum dome with a cross is installed. Local authorities, sponsors, and former residents of Kadyshovka, now living in Moscow, participated in the construction. The consecration took place on the feast day of St. Tikhon of Kaluga, two days before the arrival of the procession in Pavlovka.
