In the Pristen district, near the Pokrovskaya Church and not far from the Rzhava station, a chapel was consecrated in honor of the Holy Myrrhbearers. It is dedicated to the feat of women and teenagers who, in the summer of 1943, built a railway line from 'Stary Oskol to Rzhava' in 32 days instead of the planned two months. The logs for the construction of the chapel were delivered from Arkhangelsk, and the dome was made by craftsmen from Volgodonsk in the Rostov region.
