The chapel dedicated to Saint Nicholas, Archbishop of Myra in Lycia and miracle worker, belongs to the Holy Trinity Church. It is located at the southern entrance to the central market of Zheleznogorsk, on Dimitrov Street. Services and memorials are held in the chapel, but liturgies are not performed there.

The construction of the stone chapel in honor of Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker began in December 2006 in front of the main facade of the shopping center at the Central Market of Zheleznogorsk. At that time, the estimated cost of construction was two and a half million rubles. The work was carried out by builders from the joint-stock company 'Matis,' whose shopping center is located nearby.
