The chapel of St. Blaise of Sebaste is located in the village of Graddor, which is 15 kilometers from Syktyvkar, in the Syktyvdin district. It is difficult to determine the exact date of the village's founding, but the first mentions of it date back to 1719.

The first resident of Graddor was Ivan Anisimovich Savinov, who arrived from Shoshki. The most famous native of the village is the military leader Dmitry Georgievich Dubrovsky, who was awarded numerous high honors for his feats. The main attraction of Graddor is the ancient wooden chapel, built in 1854 and consecrated in honor of Bishop Blaise of Sebaste. The authorship of the chapel is unknown, as similar structures were often erected by the residents themselves.

Bishop Blaise of Sebaste, revered as a martyr, is a Christian saint and the patron of animals. He is better known in the Catholic tradition, which gives the chapel a unique significance. It is also interesting as an example of 19th-century wooden architecture.

Currently, the chapel of St. Blaise of Sebaste is preserved and not in use. The village is home to only a few dozen people.
