The Chapel of the Merciful Savior is located at the entrance to Ivanovo from the direction of Suzdal. It was built with donations from benefactors and consecrated on September 21, 2012, by Metropolitan Joseph of Ivanovo-Voznesensk and Vichuga. A year earlier, a similar chapel appeared at the entrance to the city from the direction of Kostroma.
