In 2012, a water blessing chapel was built in the Cathedral Square so that pilgrims could quench their thirst by collecting water in the warm season. On July 21 of the same year, the chapel was consecrated in honor of St. Seraphim of Sarov. Water flows into the chapel from a well located on the territory of the skete, which is bounded by the Holy Canal. The architectural style of the chapel's completion harmonizes with the domes of the Kazan Cathedral.
