Local residents claim that the chapel was built in the late 19th century. The construction involved the inhabitants of Koverlevo, and the bricks were made in the vicinity of this settlement. During the Soviet period, the upper part of the chapel was destroyed. In the early 2000s, local residents began its restoration. The chapel is now operational, and services are held there regularly.
