In the village of Davydchychi, a chapel was built in 2002 on the site of the lost church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. It was consecrated on September 16, 2002.

The Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary was located on a hill in the center of the village. Davydchychi was part of the parish of the village of Rekovichi. Between 1733 and 1738, a wooden church was erected here at the request of the landowner, Captain Prince G.M. Zasekin. It burned down in 1787, and in 1799, thanks to the efforts of parishioners, peasants, and the Zasekin princes, a new wooden church was built in its place. In 1844, a northern chapel in honor of Alexander Nevsky was added, and in 1885, a bell tower was constructed.

With the arrival of Soviet power, the church was desecrated and destroyed in the mid-20th century. A chapel was built in its place.
