The chapel in honor of the Great Princess Elizabeth Feodorovna is located in the north-eastern corner tower of the monastery's fence, built in the 1850s, while the chapel itself was arranged in the 2000s.

In the mid-19th century, a stone fence with four corner tower-chapels was erected around the Holy Vvedensky Women's Monastery. During the Soviet era, the fence and two of the towers were destroyed and dismantled for bricks, leaving only two towers.

In 1993, the building of one of the surviving chapels, located in the southwestern part, was handed over to the believers. After cleaning and tidying up the chapel, a prayer service was held. It was dedicated to the Great Princess Elizabeth Feodorovna, who visited this monastery twice during her lifetime.
