In the village of Beg, there has never been a church or temple. In 2009, a cross was installed at the entrance to the settlement, symbolizing the foundation of the chapel, but construction did not begin for a long time. It was only in 2012 that Valery Smirnov donated a plot of land, and work started almost immediately. The first stone was laid in the foundation, and the log structure had already been prepared in advance.

On March 30, 2015, Metropolitan Evlogy of Vladimir and Suzdal consecrated the chapel in honor of the holy righteous Peter and Fevronia of Murom.
