On September 11, 2015, a chapel in honor of the holy great martyr and healer Panteleimon was opened in Astrakhan on the grounds of the Alexander-Mariinsky Regional Clinical Hospital. The consecration ceremony was conducted by the secretary of the Astrakhan Diocese, Archpriest Mikhail Pristaya, and the rector of the Church of the Theodorovskaya Icon of the Mother of God, Priest Pavel Kotkov. The initiative to build the chapel arose in 2014 thanks to the regional public charitable foundation 'Step Towards.'
