Фото 1
The chapel dedicated to St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, located in the Gingerbread Rows, was built at the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries. Initially, it belonged to the Nikol-Babaevsky Men's Monastery of the Kostrama Diocese. After its closure in the 1920s, the building was used for various purposes. In 1994, the chapel was returned to the church. Since July 2002, it has been affiliated with the Church of St. George the Victorious, which is located at the Kostrama branch of the Military University of Radiation, Chemical and Biological Defense.
