Фото 1
The Nicholas-Elijah Chapel is located in the western corner tower of the monastery fence and is dedicated to St. Nicholas the Wonderworker and the Prophet Elijah. It was built on the site of the northwestern tower of the monastery fence and existed even before the revolution, although its original name has not been preserved in documents.

The chapel stands out with its expressive and rich decorative design. It is two-tiered, octagonal, built of brick, with a tent-like roof and abundant decor. The structure was erected in 1889 in the pseudo-Russian style according to the design of architect Petrov. The chapel acquired its current appearance after restoration carried out in 2001.
