In the village of Tolbukhino, Yaroslavl region, the restoration of the ancient 18th-century chapel has been completed. Residents collected funds for the restoration over several years. Before starting the work, it was necessary to study numerous archival documents. The Chapel of Archangel Michael and the Trinity Church, built in the 18th century, were completely destroyed in the early last century. Later, a local club was placed in the church, and a wine shop in the chapel. "Fundraising began in 2007, and restoration work started in 2008. It was not easy to restore, as it was important to return the historical appearance that had been lost," noted Priest Ioann Mazyakov.
