The chapel in Novinka is dedicated to Archangel Michael and features more complex architecture. Above the narthex is a bell tower with a low tent roof, supported by carved capitals, similar to the chapels of Syurga and Verkhny Kone. Faceted melon shapes alternate with flat cushions, giving the building a festive appearance.

The dome of the chapel is covered with iron and resembles an elongated spruce cone. This chapel is close to the Karelian type we saw in the Pryazha district. Its origins may be in Olonets, where Karelians, a significant part of the population, interacted with Russian culture.

Upon first inspection, the chapel's iconostasis was in good condition, containing icons from the early 18th century and one icon from the 16th century, "Smolensk Mother of God." In the lower row were icons of "Nicholas," "George," "Smolensk Mother of God," "Archangel Michael on a Fiery Horse," and "Peter and Paul" in full height. The icons have been transferred to the Karelian Museum of Arts. The icon of "Peter and Paul" has been cleaned and displayed, showing noticeable influence from the Zaonezh school of painting. The traditions of icon painting do not hinder the artist from freely composing images and achieving expressiveness in revealing the content of the panels.

The icon of "Nicholas in Life" has also been cleaned, interesting for its everyday details. In the panel with the inscription "Saint Nicholas began to learn grammar," a stern monk is depicted sitting on a folding chair against the backdrop of a wooden house, with two smiling boys holding primers in front of him. The style of this icon differs from that of "Peter and Paul," showing more softness in conveying volume, with noticeable influence from Vologda painting.

Surrounding the Novinka chapel is a cemetery with ancient crosses adorned with carved canopies and copper icons.
