The Malyshev chapel, preserved to this day, is a square log structure standing on a low solid foundation. It is topped with a high wedge-shaped gable roof covered with wooden shingles, over which is laid a layer of wooden splinters. The ridge of the roof is oriented from west to east, and the roof itself is constructed in a male-female joint style. On the eastern side, two simple extensions have been preserved, while on the western side, there is one. The eastern extension of the northern slope is adorned with a simple carved towel, which consists of a through circle with a cross at the end and trapezoidal 'drops'.

The roof is trimmed at the bottom with a ledge, which on the western side is due to the adjoining roof over the gallery, making the eaves shorter here. The gallery, raised on brackets, surrounds the chapel on three sides. The entrance was located on the eastern side and led via a steep staircase to the northern part of the gallery, then to the western part and through a framed door into the main room.

Based on several features, such as the overall architectural style, the wedge-shaped roof, the log construction 'in the round', the framed door and window, as well as the gallery on bracket supports and smooth walls with right angles, the chapel is dated to the 18th century. This does not contradict the fact that it is absent from the 1782 plan. Originally, the chapel was built far from the village, to the west of it, on the shore of a small lake or spring. Only much later, in the 19th century (before 1866), was it moved into the village. This fact has been preserved in the memory of the residents and passed down through generations. For the peasants, the chapel was a revered relic, as there were no similar structures in the surrounding villages.
