In 1992, with the support of Archimandrite Avel Makdonov, the abbot of the St. John the Theologian Monastery, a chapel was built at the grave of Lyubov Ryazanskaya, who was canonized in 1987 as a locally venerated saint in the Assembly of Ryazan Saints. On June 23, 1998, her relics were transferred to the Nikoloyamsky Church in Ryazan, but part of her incorrupt remains remained in the chapel above her former grave.
