On November 16, 2010, a chapel was consecrated in honor of Saint Luke Voyno-Yasenetsky, Archbishop of Simferopol and Crimea, on the territory of the Vorotynsk Central District Hospital. By the blessing of Archbishop Georgy of Nizhny Novgorod and Arzamas, the consecration ceremony was conducted by the secretary of the diocese, Mitrophor Priest Igor Ponomarev, along with the clergy of the Vorotynsk deanery.

The chapel, which took two years to build, was erected with funds from private donors and parishioners of the Vorotyn church in honor of the Not-Made-By-Hands Image of the Savior. The walls of the chapel are painted by an iconographer from Lyskov in the ancient Russian style, depicting Gospel themes, mainly focused on healing. Two icons were written for the consecration: one of Saint Luke, in honor of whom the chapel is consecrated, and the other of Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker, who is the heavenly patron of the main benefactor of the newly consecrated chapel.
