The sacrarium was consecrated on June 5, 2011, by the abbot of the Spaso-Yakovlevsky Monastery, Augustine, on the feast day of Saint Leontius of Rostov. The construction was carried out with the blessing of the dean of the Rostov district, Roman, with the participation of workers from the Spaso-Yakovlevsky Monastery and funded by the Solovyov family from Yaroslavl.
