The chapel was likely built at the founding of the village, over 150 years ago. In the 1960s, a cross was reinstalled on it, which had previously been removed, although this was accompanied by scandals. The old iconostasis was looted. In 2007-2008, the chapel was restored to its current form and consecrated by Father Sergey from the village of Vasyutino in the Moscow region. The fence around it was also repaired and everything was painted. Old trees and shrubs were cut down. In early spring 2010, unknown individuals broke the glass, entered, and stole two old brass lamps that hung in the corners. New ones were purchased and hung.

The chapel is consecrated in honor of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God, and its summer holiday is celebrated in the village. It is located on Samodurovka Street, with Slobodka Street in front of it. To the left, in the backyards of Slobodka, runs Kurinaya Slobodka Street. Down the road to the left in the distance is Zakharovka Street. Behind, at the entrance to the village, stretches a long Semenovka Street.
