In the city of Lakinsk, there are two holy springs associated with the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God. One of them is located near the Kazan Church. According to tradition, in the village of Undol, which is now part of Lakinsk, there is a holy site where the image of the Most Holy Theotokos appeared twice. The likeness of the Mother of God was found at the spring, where a church was later built in honor of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God. The spring has a small flow and trickles gently. It is believed that the water from this spring can heal blindness.
