In the city of Lakinsk, there are two holy springs dedicated to the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God. One of them is located about two kilometers from the Kazan church. The road to this spring is unpaved and clayey, with seasonal restrictions and significant elevation changes. At the spring, there is a notice with an official conclusion from the sanitary-epidemiological service confirming that the levels of bacteria and iron are zero, while the pH level and salt content meet the standards for natural table water. The water from the spring is considered one of the best in the region in terms of taste and is believed to have healing properties. Due to the strong water pressure, a bathing area with a pool has been set up at the spring, where everyone, both women and men, can take turns to wash. There is also a designated area for men to pour water over themselves from a bucket.
