The chapel made of pine logs belongs to a rare type of tiered chapels. In 1969, it was moved from the village of Pritykino in the Sharyinsky district, where it stood on a high bank of the Vetluga River, to the center of the village, and likely served as a landmark for navigation. The restoration was carried out according to the project of architect I.Sh. Shevelev in 1969-1970.

The chapel has a high tiered composition set on a boulder foundation. It consists of a lower square section and two octagonal sections, and there may have once been a third. The structure is topped with a cylindrical drum and an onion dome, covered with wooden shingles. The silhouette of the chapel stands out due to the contrasting proportions of the tiers, which noticeably narrow towards the top, as well as the eaves of the roofs with peaks at the ends. The upper parts of the octagon have slopes that are almost hidden by large eaves. The square section is pierced with three symmetrical openings on each side, except for the eastern side. On the western side, beside the arched entrance, there are rectangular windows with frames and crest-like lintels. There are also three such windows on the southern and northern facades. The arch of the entrance and the lintels are decorated with carvings in the form of small teeth. The high interior space of the chapel is covered with a wooden "sky," the painting of which has not survived.
