The Chapel of the Iveron Icon of the Mother of God is located in Omsk, near the shopping center "Lyubinsky" and the monument "Merchant Woman and Photographer".

The stone chapel, dedicated to the Iveron Icon of the Mother of God, was built between 1863 and 1867 at the initiative of Governor-General A. Dyugamel with funds from merchant Fyodor Kurgansky. Soon nearby, a shop owned by merchant M.A. Shanina and a transformer booth appeared, which led to the relocation of the chapel. In August 1916, a plot was allocated for the construction of a new chapel, but revolutionary events changed the plans.

Fortunately, the chapel was restored in 1996 on the site of the old building, which was demolished in the 1920s, although its appearance has changed somewhat. Built of red brick according to the design of architect M.M. Khakhaev, it features a tall octagonal volume with a gable roof and an onion dome on a faceted neck. A five-sided apse and a small rectangular narthex with a gable roof adjoin the main volume.

Today, the chapel of the Iveron Icon of the Mother of God in Omsk operates as a spiritual center and adorns the city block.
