The Holy Gates are the oldest structure of the monastery. They house a gate chapel dedicated to the Iveron Icon of the Mother of God. Visitors can access it from May to October during daylight hours. The Holy Gates, one of the first stone buildings of the monastery, were erected in the 1660s according to the design of architect Ershov. Inside, one can see 17th-century frescoes depicting the creation of the world and the Apocalypse.
