The spring, known since ancient times as Elijah's well, is located on the slope of a ravine in an open field on the southwestern outskirts of the village of Glukhovo and is clearly visible from the Arzamas-Diveevo highway. The road to it passes through hilly terrain. In 2008, a chapel and two bathing facilities were built at this healing spring with the support of Moscow's Novinkombank and the head of the sponsoring organization, Ilya Nikolaevich Gubin. The consecration of the chapel in honor of Saint Elijah the Prophet and the healing spring with bathing facilities was conducted by the archbishop, now metropolitan, of Nizhny Novgorod and Arzamas, Georgy.
