Near the Kalinin settlement, a spring has been flowing for many centuries. Water emerges directly from the ground, and the locals, who hold this place in high regard, consider it a holy site.
However, they are not the only ones who find inspiration here. On the ninth Friday after Easter, people come from neighboring villages, other districts, and even from Ukraine.
Last summer, pilgrims arriving at the spring were surprised by the changes. The already picturesque landscape was enhanced with new structures. Next to the spring, a baptismal pool with a convenient descent and railings appeared, and a log chapel was built a little further away.
Representatives of the clergy from the Glushkovsky district, the neighboring town of Rylsk, and even from Beloye came to bless the chapel.
