The healing spring called Atamansky Klyuch is located on the southwestern side of the mountain, near the area where the men's Spaso-Preobrazhensky Monastery used to be, and now there is a correctional facility. The spring originally got its name from the nearby mountain. Many people came here for holy water to heal their soul and body, and pilgrims often visited. A water blessing ceremony was held here. In 1856, with the funds of Bishop of Samara Eusebius and Governor-General of Orenburg V.A. Perovsky, a chapel was built in honor of the Icon of the Mother of God 'Life-Giving Spring'. The chapel existed until 1930, after which it was dismantled. On the 150th anniversary of the founding of the Spaso-Preobrazhensky Men's Monastery, on October 17, 2003, a chapel was once again laid at the foot of the mountain in honor of the Icon of the Mother of God 'Life-Giving Spring'. It is affiliated with the parish of the Church of the Transfiguration of the Savior in the city of Buzuluk.
