On the southern slope of the hill, which steeply descends from the walls of the Bogolyubov Monastery to the old riverbed of the Klyazma and the monastery ponds, there is a miraculous spring with a baptismal font. Since the active restoration of the monastery began in 2001, a chapel has been built over the spring in honor of the Icon of the Mother of God 'Life-Giving Spring'. The snow-white chapel with a blue roof is sheltered in the shade of trees. This is a quiet and beautiful place that brings peace. Believers come here for the healing of their souls and bodies.

The stone chapel is equipped with two separate baptismal fonts: one for the nuns of the monastery and the other for pilgrims. Access to the public font is only possible with the blessing of the duty sister, who will also provide the keys. To reach the spring, one must walk around the nearly two-kilometer fence of the monastery and descend a steep iron staircase. The sisters use a gate in the southern wall of the monastery.

Water from the spring is supplied to the monastery, including the ciborium and the holy water tent, so holy water can be consumed or containers filled directly on the monastery grounds.
