Chapel of the Icon of the Mother of God 'Joy of All Who Sorrow' in Krasny Yar

In pre-revolutionary times, a miraculous icon of the Iveron Mother of God was found in the village. It was kept in a chapel that was destroyed after the revolution. The icon was discovered near the Church of Christ the Savior, on a neighboring street where nuns used to live. Found on a tree, the icon was transferred to the Church of the Vladimir Mother of God. However, the Iveron icon turned out to be 'transient'; the next morning it disappeared from the church and was found again on the same tree. In honor of this miraculous icon, a chapel was built, which was also later destroyed.

For a long time, the site of the destroyed chapel remained a wasteland, changing hands six or seven times, but no one was able to build anything there. Now, a new chapel has been erected in honor of the icon of the Mother of God 'Joy of All Who Sorrow.' This icon has miraculously renewed its colors, although it was previously completely black and indistinguishable. In the new chapel, the Mother of God Psalter is read.
