The wooden chapel with a four-sided tent dome was built over two years. Its solemn opening and consecration in honor of the icon of the Mother of God 'Burning Bush' took place on November 22, 2012. This day was particularly significant for Murom, as it coincided with the celebration of the icon of the Mother of God 'Quick to Hear.' Archbishop Evlogy of Vladimir and Suzdal noted this in his address at the consecration ceremony. The chapel belongs to the Assumption Church of the city.
