The decision to build a chapel on the grounds of the Vladimir Church was made back in 2001, but construction was long delayed. Only in 2011 was the brick chapel in the shape of a cube completed and consecrated in honor of St. George the Victorious. This chapel serves as a memorial to the soldiers who fell in the Great Patriotic War, as evidenced by the memorial plaque on its eastern facade. Above the entrance is an image of St. George the Victorious, the patron saint of our troops.
